The process begins with an in-depth design consultation to discuss the vision for the space and specific qualities of the ideal floor covering. We will explore possibilities of sizes, textures, weights, styles, materials, and colors to determine what type of rug will achieve the desired result. At this time the client often provides fabric swatches or images to serve as color guides and inform the design.

From these details we will weave a custom "strike-off"- an approximately 12"x12" full scale sample - usually showing several variations as potential colorway options. We mail this sample to the clients so that it can be seen in the space where the finished rug is to be. There is a nominal fee for the strike-off, but that fee is waived if the rug is ordered.

Once the design is approved and the order is placed by providing a 50% deposit, then our production process begins. Most orders can be completed with a 3-6 month lead time.
